Rev. Roberta Knowles, aka Rev. Bobbie, has been at St. Philip's since June 2007. Rev. Bobbie joined us from St. James Episcopal Church in Houston where she served as the Assistant Priest.

Rev Bobbie, grew up in the Bahamas, and received her B.S from Bethune-Cookman College in Daytona Beach, FL and her Master of Divinity from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry. Prior to joining the priesthood, she was a teacher, school administrator, and insurance salesperson.

Rev. Bobbie believes that home groups are essential because they foster close personal relationships within a congregation. In addition, one of her main passions is outreach. Not only that, but she also has extensive knowledge of Scripture and a strong teaching background. This knowledge, along with her strong work ethic, her gift of pastoral care and her ability to inspire others to serve Christ, has created a new energy within our congregation.

Catherine LaGrone is the Director of Youth and Children’s Ministries at St. Philip's Episcopal Church. She and her husband, Riley, have been doing our Children’s Music Ministry since 2003 and began leading the youth and children’s programs in late 2007. They live in Kyle, TX, and have a little girl, June Anne, who is the light of their lives! Catherine received her Master’s in Education and teaching certificate in early 2008 and loves working with children in any capacity. She is grateful for the opportunity God has given her family to serve Him through this small but spirit-filled church.
