- December 16, 2007: Special Christmas Service. The children and Jackie's Fundanzer's put on a special show of music and dance during the service.
- November 25, 2007: Special Thanksgiving Service. The children, puppets, and dancers were all involved in this service.

- July 27, 2007: Parent's Night Out. Parent’s of St. Philip and the surrounding community enjoyed a night out on the town while their kids spent the evening on a wilderness adventure.

- June, 2004: a mission team from St.
Philip traveled to Casa
Hogar, an orphanage outside of El Carmen, Mexico to
share Christ's love with orphans.
- September, 2003: St. Philip's crew
build
the new church offices a Jackie's.
- April 17, 2003: The Last
Supper Tableau was an awsome experience, preceded
by a traditional Seder dinner.
- April 4-6, 2003: Kairos
#2 - Boyd Unit. Forty-two men stood before their brothers
publicly professing Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
"Sea of Love" was the nickname given to the weekend by
the men that Mark worked with. The other 35 men cheered.
- January 19, 2003: Cathy Jennings introduces
Godly
Play to the congregation by telling the story of the
Israelites crossing the Jordan River. She used a sand
box to tell the story, and the children helped move the
figurines. It was a powerful display of how Godly Play
can enrich the religious education of our children.
- December 2002: The church sponsors families in need during the holiday season by giving gifts to Communities in Schools, a United Way agency.
- December 8-9 2002: St. Philip welcomes the neighborhood to our new worship with the Celebration of Joy weekend. We began with a night of dinner and dancing at the Manchaca Fire Hall. On Sunday, the celebration continuted after service with lunch, music, a petting zoo and more.
- November 2002: Members of St. Philip work on a special recording that will be offered as gifts to guests, the congregation and God.
- November 2002: St. Philip makes the move from St. Andrew's Upper School to Jackie's Performing Arts Academy, but not before a lot of sweat equity is put into the new worship space.
- October 2002: The men's group of St. Philip spent a weekend of worship and fishing at Matagorda Island State Park.
- September 2002: The Circle C home group hosted a block party, extending fellowship to neighbors in the community.
- Winter 2002: The youth group goes on a ski trip.
- Fall 2001: The talent show is always fun at the Alpha Holy Spirit Weekend
- The youth hold a car wash.
